Let There Be Light

"Then God commanded, let there be light - and light appeared." from the Book of Genesis Chapter 1 verse 3.

I am like a moth drawn to LIGHT and it is one of the many reasons why I set up our Christmas tree every time I am home for the holidays. I like the glitters and the shimmering lights. I like how it adds festivity and helps boost the holiday spirit.

I arrived home earlier this evening to a pitch black neighborhood. It was not a welcome sight and it made me all the more appreciate the wonderful gift of LIGHT. Thank goodness the black out didn't last all through out the night and when there was light, it sure made me one happy camper.

Amazing how light has such an effect on the spirit isn't it? Lovely tones and bokeh ;-)
