Food: Gelato Ice Cream

I ask for a moment's indulgence to sit by thy side.
The works that I have in hand I will finish afterwards.

Away from the sight of thy face my heart knows no rest nor respite
and my work becomes an endless toil in a shore-less sea of toil.

Today the summer has come at my window with its sighs and murmurs; and
the bees are plying their minstrelsy at the court of the flowering grove.

Now it is time to sit quite, face to face with thee,
and to sing dedication of life in this silent and overflowing leisure.
- Rabindranath Tagore -

The weather in my country has been very erratic lately. It will rain for a few hours; then, the sun will come out sometimes sending scorching heat. But what's worse is that a good weather will only last for a couple of hours; then, it will rain again. On hours during a break from the rain, it sometimes call for a cold drink or ice cream due to a very warm and humid weather. It was a day like this when me and my cousin indulged in a gelato, an Italian ice cream, at Gelatissimo. They have a wide array of choices, each decoratively topped with the object of its flavor. Each selection looks delicious and appeals to me; making it difficult for me to make a decision. I eventually settled for a chocolate hazelnut and tiramisu, it is yummy but after two scoops I just find it too sweet. I also found the color of the week for Project 64 Out of the Box: dandelion in the Mango Tango flavor. Yum!!!

The words by Rabindranath Tagore are beautiful, like a sweet song. And the gelato looks AMAZING!! We took our first trip to Italy last year and had gelato every day, sometimes twice!! Couldn't get enough! The Mango Tango looks refreshing!
