SAIGON: The Walking Tour

"The path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get lost, we turn back. Maybe it doesn't matter which road we embark on. Maybe what matters is that we embark." (Barbara Hall)

I liked to draft an itinerary where at the same time I could picture the route of one destination to the other. During my research about Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) and the destinations in the city, I had difficulty connecting the dots to each destination. It was a good thing that the Saigon Mini Hotel 6 where we were booked for 3 nights and 2 days provided us a map (click the link to download the map) of the popular and walking distance travel spots. Great, right? It saved me time to figure out the location and directions of each attraction. Oh...before you get too excited, let me warn you that the map was limited. I realized that there could have been so much more to see in Saigon other than the must-see ones in District 1. Therefore, if you would prefer the road less traveled things to see and do in Saigon, be sure to look them up in your research. Below are some photos of our walking tour.
